MEC is pleased to announce the promotion of Rand Stille to the position of Executive Vice President – Defiance Metal Products (DMP) & Performance Structures Operations. In his new role, Rand will have full P&L responsibility and provide the operational leadership to 8 facilities across four states that MEC operates in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRand\u2019s history of success makes him highly qualified to run the multi-state divisions and guide their success in the years ahead,\u201d said Steve Mance, chief operating officer. \u201cHis operational experience in lean principles, factory flow and his financial acumen will allow us to continue to further develop at these locations and I look forward to seeing Rand lead the organization forward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before joining MEC as Vice President \u2013 Performance Structures Operations in April of this year, Rand worked at Universal Logistics Holdings where he ran their international operations in Bogota, Colombia and San Luis Potosi, MX as well as overseeing their Westport Axle Corp entities in Virginia, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. Prior to that, Rand worked at Shape Corp and JCI\/Prince. Rand and his family lived in and started international entities in both China and Mexico while at Shape Corp<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A native of Michigan, Rand earned his Bachelor\u2019s Degree from DePauw University and has a Masters of Science in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University. Rand, his wife Amy and family reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
